About Arjowiggins

At Arjowiggins, there is a history of producing fine and custom-made papers that extends back to 1770. From our Anglo-French roots we have grown into a leading paper manufacturer with a global reach, marrying nearly 250 years of experience, knowledge and skill to the most advanced technology available, to serve customers large and small worldwide.

Our engineers and scientists continuously explore new processes, technologies and ideas, and the products of their research and development keep the creative possibilities of paper alive and flourishing.

Since 1770, we’ve been making fine papers for people who create fine ideas. It is our quest today and it will be tomorrow.

The environment

Respect for people, for tradition and for the environment are values we hold dear.

All of our papers are ECF FSC™-certified (FSC™ C018501). Our mills comply with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and our mill at Stoneywood is also ISO 50001 (Energy Management)-compliant. The use of alternative materials, such as fast-growing, renewable bamboo fibres and by-products from the food industry, is a vital part of our product development programme.

We’re also continually looking to achieve cleaner, whiter recycled papers. Our ranges offer more than a hundred recycled options, from 25% to 100% post-consumer waste, from smooth and textured whites to coloured boards.

In the UK, Ireland, Benelux, Nordics, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia, we make Conqueror papers carbon-neutral. We do this by working constantly to reduce carbon emissions in the production and delivery of the paper, and compensating for the remaining emissions through the sponsorship of carbon-reduction projects.
