At LUXE PACK Monaco last week, we unveiled our new-look stand that was a pure celebration of colour, shape and packaging! To accompany this eye-catching design, we launched a brand new brochure presenting our entire global packaging offering into one place for the very first time.
With ambitions to reaffirm our position as the paper manufacturer of choice for the luxury packaging industry, we attended the event with an eye-catching new stand designed to visually communicate how paper can be harnessed in packaging to create volume and shape in a fun and playful way.
The imagery on the stand could be seen mirrored in the design of the new brochure, with the message that packaging can be colourful, customisable and sustainable. Spiral bound and wrapped in a beautiful presentation box, the new brochure, designed by Paris-based studio, Stereochromie, brings together our entire packaging range in a simple format, while also reaffirming our leadership in environmental initiatives and how it has helped to transform paper making for the better.
An easy-to-follow range overview clearly details all paper products from across our Creative Papers, Specialist Papers, Cover Papers and Translucent Barrier Paper ranges, and their applications in packaging. There is a special focus on Sylvicta – Arjowiggins’ pioneering barrier paper that’s a sustainable alternative to plastic protective packaging, which won a Green Award at LUXE PACK Shanghai in Spring 2021 – as well as further details about Arjowiggins’ custom-made papers, for brand owners whose projects require a memorable and unique material.
Jonathan Mitchell, CEO of Arjowiggins, explains: “With over 320 years of experience, knowledge and skill with the most advanced technology available, we’re well-equipped to serve customers large and small worldwide. From creative and cover papers for luxury packaging to translucent barrier packaging for the food and cosmetics industries, our off-the-shelf products are a guarantee of quality, whatever the purpose or experience they are fulfilling.
“In addition, the custom-made papers we develop with our customers are each a unique balancing act of variables – material, weight, surface, colour, texture, inclusions, size – to reflect each customer’s brand identity and product positioning. With four mills strategically located across Europe and China and a distribution network spanning five continents, we help some of the world’s best-known brands maintain consistent and sustainable packaging standards across the globe.”
Next stop for Arjowiggins is Cosmetic Business, which is taking place in Munich on 20th and 21st October. We will be exhibiting at Hall 1, booth B04 where visitors can pick up their free copy of the new packaging brochure, view colour and texture samples and try out some of the different tools on display, including Arjowiggins’ Keaykolour and Curious Metallics boxes, our Recycled and Alternative Fibres finger fan and the brochure on our award-winning barrier paper, Sylvicta.
